<p><strong>Solution:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Step 1: Stop the Print Spooler Service:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Windows XP:</strong> Click Start -&gt; Run -&gt; Type &#8220;services.msc&#8221; hit Enter<br />
<strong>Windows 7:</strong> In the Run/Search prompt type &#8220;services.msc&#8221; hit Enter</p>
<p><em>Find the Print Spooler service and stop it.</em></p>
<p><strong>Step 2: Clear temp files:</strong></p>
<p>Find the spool folder for your printer:</p>
<p>C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS</p>
<p><strong>Windows XP:</strong> Click Start -&gt; Run -&gt; Type &#8220;%windir%\System32\spool\PRINTERS&#8221; hit Enter<br />
<strong>Windows 7:</strong> In the Run/Search prompt type &#8220;%windir%\System32\spool\PRINTERS&#8221; hit Enter</p>
<p><em>Delete all temporary files (.tmp) files.</em></p>
<p><strong>Step 3: Start the Print Spooler Service:</strong></p>
